- 1 large peach (ripe)
- 2 tbsp water (optional)
If using fresh peaches, cut the peach into chunks and freeze until solid (approx 4+ hrs)
Add the frozen chunks of peaches (and water if using) to a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy (you'll have to stop the processor a few times and scrape the sides and rearrange the chunks to ensure an even blend).
Scoop the sorbet into a dish and serve immediately or place it into the freezer for a few minutes to firm up a bit.
Leftovers can be frozen and blended again when needed.
- Use a ripe and juicy peach for the best results.
- When blending, it does take time and you will have to stop and scrape the sides multiple times but it does work and come together in the end, I promise!)
- In lieu of using water, you can allow the peach chunks to defrost ever-so-slightly so that they blend easier
- If you prefer a bit more sweetness, add a teaspoon or two of honey to the peaches when blending.
