WP RecipeMaker
We use the WP RecipeMaker plugin to optimally display recipes on our site. Bootstrapped Ventures, the developer of WP Recipe Maker, does not have access to any of the data collected by the plugin. This is all stored in our database and is not communicated back Bootstrapped Ventures. When commenting on recipes the plugin stores the rating a user has given to a recipe along with the personal data to which WordPress core has access in our database. When rating a recipe the plugin will store a cookie on the user’s browser that contains the rating this user has given to a particular recipe and separately will store the IP address the vote came from within our database. The cookie and IP address are used as methods to protect our website and our user’s from rating spam on our recipes. With the Recipe Submission feature personal data can be collected, depending on the fields that were added to the form. This can include the user email and name.
